본음 [本音]
REAL SOUND
악기 본연의 소리를 찾는 실험.
징을 징채로만 쳐야 된다는 생각을 벗어나 하나의 악기에서도 수많은 소리를 낸다는 것에서 창작은 시작되었다. 한 곡에서 한 종류의 악기로만 연주를 하여 악기마다 본연의 소리를 찾아 발현시킨다. 전통 장단을 기반으로 다양한 타법의 활용과 함께 리듬을 변주하고 혼합하여 곡을 구성하였다. 강렬함과 역동성, 생동감은 물론이고 타악기의 정적이며 부드러운 소리 또한 느낄 것이다.
An experiment to find the original sound of an instrument.
I started creating with the idea that a single instrument can make many sounds. It was developed by changing and mixing traditional rhythms. Also, in order to express the original sounds of each instrument well, only one type of instrument is played in a song. It shows intensity, dynamism and liveliness, as well as a still and soft sound.
곡 소개
1. get !
꽹과리에서 왼손 연주법인 막음새는 쇠 하나로만 만들어진 꽹과리의 소리를 더 다채롭게 만들어준다. 막음새의 다양한 활용과 함께 꽹과리의 맛을 가장 잘 보여주는 장단인 오채질굿, 자진모리, 휘모리 장단을 사용해 곡을 구성하였다. 태양을 상징하는 꽹과리의 소리만으로 마음이 뜨거워지는 기운을 얻을 수 있을 것이다.
2. 박동
북의 울림은 수축과 이완, 축소와 확대, 조임과 풀림의 상반되는 과정을 반복하면서 사람들의 심장 박동을 극대화시킨다. 다양한 박자에 다이나믹한 가락을 사용하여 지루할 틈이 없는 박동감을 느낄 수 있다.
3. 똑딱 (knock)
장구와 북에 나무로 만들어진 통 부분들을 연주하면서 나무로만 만든 타악기에 호기심이 생겼다. 우리나라에서 아직은 생소한 로그드럼의 소리에 집중!
4. EXIT
탈출, 자유를 의미하는 말로, 곡을 감싸주는 일반적인 징의 역할에서 벗어나 새로운 길을 찾으려 한다. 평범한 징의 타법을 탈피하여 징이 낼 수 있는 최대한의 소리를 이끌어낸다.
징의 탈출이 시작된다.
5. 맞장구
[명사] 남의 말에 덩달아 호응하거나 동의하는 일 ;
서로의 호흡이 맞아야 한다는 데서 생긴 말로 3명이서 장구로 맞장단을 친다. 예로부터 쇠, 즉 꽹과리가 불러온 신을 장구와 같은 가죽악기들이 즐겁게 달래 재미있게 놀게 하였다. 3명이서 치는 맞장단에 듣는 이의 마음까지 맞장구치며 즐겁게 연주한다.
PROGRAM

In Kwaenggwari, the left-hand playing method makes the sound of Kwaenggwari more colorful. For various uses of the left-handed playing method, the traditional rhythms of ‘Ochaejilgut, Jajinmori, and Hwimori’ were used.
2. Bak-dong
The sound of drums maximizes people's heartbeat. You will have no time to get bored by using dynamic melodies in various beats.
3. Knock
As I played the wooden parts of the janggu and drum, I became curious about the wooden percussion instruments.Concentrate on the mysterious and attractive log drum sound !
4. EXIT
In traditional Korean music, ‘gong’ mainly plays a role of enclosing the song.
I tried to create a new sound by breaking away from the general method of playing the gong.

5. Matt-Jang-gu (Chime-in)
In Korea, we use the word ‘Matt-jang-gu’ to mean responding to other people’s words. Three people play 'Matt-Jang-gu' with a Jang-gu. It plays happily as if hitting the hearts of the listeners.
